The site's title, So the drama, came up when I was surfing the web for CSI: NY and came across this board where Danny was called a "drama queen". I cracked up when I read that, because it is quite true. XD For instance, when Mac told Danny that he was on the promotion list, Danny went all angsty on Mac. And don't even get me started on the On the Job episode. XD I thought the title was perfect because it isn't drop-dead serious yet still fitting for Danny. :)
- Layout one: The images from this layout came from Past my shoulder [dot] com. It features the different faces of Danny Messer, from the energetic to the almost teary-eyed. The graphics were edited in Photoshop 8.0 (Creative Suite) and coded entirely in Notepad. The font I used is called Georgia, which was already in my PC when I first installed Windows. Brushes from V-brush. Texture from The Magic Box.
I like this layout because it's simple and organized. Aside from that, it features my favorite screenshots of Danny. :) I especially like the main picture of this layout, where Danny is almost close to tears, because I think it emphasizes how emotional he can be sometimes. I also like the blue-ness of the layout, because it matches the generally blue-toned sequences of CSI: NY. :) - Layout two: The images from this layout came from CSI Caps dot Com. It features Season 2 Episode 20: Run Silent, Run Deep and Season 3 Episode 5: Oedipus Hex. The graphics were edited in Photoshop 8.0 (Creative Suite) and coded entirely in Notepad. The fonts I used are named Violition which I downloaded from Da Font, and Georgia, which was already in my PC when I first installed Windows. Brushes from Miss-M. Light up, light up is a line from the song Run by the awesome brit rock band Snow Patrol.
For this layout, I took my inspiration from To the Skies, a fanlisting for butterflies. I loved the color combination and how the links looked so I thought I could try a similar thing for Danny's new layout.
I really loved the Run Silent, Run Deep episode, most specifically the scenes towards the end, where Danny broke into tears and Mac hugged him, so I decided to use it for this layout. I know, it looks more of a Mac and Danny FL layout than a Danny Messer one, but I couldn't help using that image of Mac and Danny. :P Anyhow, I really like how this layout turned out. And I love green. :P
