The Ouran Koukou Host Club consisted of six of the most attractive boys on-campus. When Haruhi arrived, their count increased to seven. Basically the point of the Host Club is to entertain girls, and each member has a personality suited for a particular taste.
Suo (Suoh) Tamaki
Second-year student Tamaki is the founder and president of the Host Club. He is also apparently the self-proclaimed Host Club "daddy" due to some random incident with Haruhi. XD He's the most popular; he's requested by 70% of the club's customers. Tamaki can smooth-talk a girl, but he's also prone to over-acting and drama-queen fits. XD Personally I think he's the most hilarious of the Host Club members. XD
Ootori (Ohtori) Kyoya (Kyouya)
Kyoya is also a junior and Tamaki's close friend. He's the Host Club's vice-president and also their "mommy", due to Tamaki calling him that for a reason only Tamaki can consider sane. XD Kyoya is the "cool type", and this is what attracts girls to him, though most of the time he's seen computing and calculating the Host Club's expenses and profit. He's calm and smiles whenever there's a dark meaning in what he's saying. XD
Hitachiin Hikaru and Hitachiin Kaoru
The twins are freshmen students and experts at boy's love / incestuous relationship, which their fangirls absolutely love. XD They're the "seductive type", according to Tamaki (anime). They are mischief-makers and think of Haruhi as their "toy". When they're bored, they can become pretty evil. XD
Haninozuka Mitsukini (Honey / Hunny / Hani)
Honey is the oldest of the Host Club members, but he's also the most, erm, childish? XD Honey carries Usa-chan, a stuffed bunny, wherever he goes, and is quite protective of the bunny. XD He's the "lolita type", which is his appeal to their customers. He has a cute little voice in the anime and acts just like a child; you wouldn't guess that he's their "sempai". XD
Morinozuka Takashi (Mori)
Mori is also a senior like Honey, and is Honey's cousin. Most of his speaking lines are liek "..." and stuff, and he rarely smiles too, but Haruhi has managed to make him smile several times. Mori only joined the host club because of Honey, but he seems to be enjoying himself anyway, so it's okay, I guess. LOL~ According to Kyoya, Mori's silence (indifference in the anime subs) is his selling point.
Fujioka Haruhi
Haruhi is the newest and reluctant member of the Host Club, who was forced to join to pay back the eight-million vase that got broken. Haruhi is a freshman, but unlike the other guys, Haruhi comes from a middle-class family. Apparently, Haruhi's appeal is sensitivity and girl-like behavior. Haruhi can be brutally frank sometimes, although Haruhi never means to be rude. XD
